Willow Haven Therapy
Sydney Watson Pritchard

M.S., LPC-MHSP

Sydney is currently practicing in the Nashville area at Willow Haven Therapy in Brentwood, Tennessee. Sydney loves to help women connect their minds and bodies through holistic approaches.

"I believe that therapy isn’t meant to be scary, even though scary things may be confronted. Stepping into a room to vulnerably share your life story, all the way from moments that have felt like valleys to mountain top views, takes an exceeding amount of resiliency and strength. By unlocking what our minds and bodies have been through and telling us, in a safe space, healing and freedom are found to live a more full and healthy life as the most authentic you. Your story deserves to be heard, and you deserve to grow from your story."

Sydney has completed numerous trainings, including trainings to administer Brainspotting and to be a Certified Trauma Professional and Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional.

Sydney works with a wide range of ages and genders, but her clinical focus is working with teen girls and adult women between the ages of sixteen to forty (flexible) that are growing through such transformative and transitional years of life that are ready to take the next steps to grow through their stories. Sydney also has a deep passion for working with women impacted by abuse and relational trauma. By taking a holistic approach and plunging into self-discovery and learning to identify and take care of our needs, we can build and transform our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health and well-being. In turn, we can enhance all other facets of our lives, including our relationships, careers, and all that comes our way because we have the skills and abilities to be mindful and cope.

Sydney's journey of work through the mental health field has guided her to various opportunities throughout the years. Sydney founded and directs a non-profit that works with children with different abilities and their families that utilizes equine, art, theatre, and music therapies and activities. She has experience as a Behavior Therapist for children on the spectrum, has worked at a psychiatric rehabilitation home for adults recovering from severe mental illness, and has volunteered her skills in numerous healthcare settings, on top of providing individual therapy for a variety of ages in the Nashville area. Sydney also has a heart for and heightened experience working within the entertainment business and with those that are involved in the entertainment business.

Sydney incorporates multiple treatment modalities into her practice to enhance clients’ individual experiences and promote inclusivity. She believes that every individual has the strength within themselves to overcome any life challenge and deserves a helping hand to encourage and support them along the way on their path to growth and self-discovery.

The Heart Behind Willow Haven:

"The willow tree holds a lot of symbolism. From bending without breaking, being flexible and expressive, adjusting with life, and adapting in challenging conditions. The willow tree exemplifies stability, structure, support, balance, learning, growth, belonging, safety, healing, and so many wonderful qualities that I wish upon every person that comes into contact with Willow Haven. This wish is the same with being a haven for others, a place of refuge and safety.
